Privacy Statement

1. Treatment of personal data

1.1. Sport2BE, a non-profit association under Belgian law, with its registered office at avenue de Tervuren 189, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, registered with the Belgian crossroad bank of enterprises under the number 0649.754.696, processes your personal data in accordance with the provisions described below.

1.2. port2Be acts as data controller within the meaning of the European General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") with regard to the processing of your data.

2. For what purposes will personal data be processed?

2.1. You contact us via the contact form on the site or by e-mail.

2.1.1. In this case, we process your personal data only in order to be able to respond to your request.

2.2. You are a member of Sport2Be, an association worker or a member of staff of Sport2Be or an occasional collaborator thereof.
2.2.1. In this case, we process your personal data in order to proceed with the administration of our members
2.2.2. We process your data to communicate with you.
2.2.3. We process your data to comply with our legal obligations.

2.3. You are a child taking part in Sport2Be activities or a parent / legal guardian of such a child.
2.3.1. In this case we process your data for the organization and smooth running of sports and educational activities.
2.3.2. We process your data for the promotion of Sport2Be and the activities it organizes.
2.3.3. We process your data for statistical purposes to report on our activities to organizations that collaborate with us, as well as to help us create grant request files.

2.4. You are interested in joining our team as sport or development coach, as volunteer, or you want to tell us about an innovation.
2.4.1. In this case, we process your data to communicate with you and analyze your request.
2.4.2. We process your data to ensure that your profile meets the needs of Sport2Be, determine the legal framework of our contractual relationship and that children will be accompanied in a professional manner.
2.4.3. We process your data to comply with our legal obligations.

2.5. You wish to support us financially through a donation or micro-donation:
2.5.1. We process your data to organize the financial support you wish to give and to thank you.
2.5.2. We process your data in order to inform you of future Sport2be actions and promotions.
2.5.3. We process your data in order to be able to establish transparent accounting of the different donations and analyze the success rate of the different promotional actions carried out by Sport2Be which lead to such support.

2.6. You are a Sport2Be partner or ambassador.
2.6.1. We process your data to maintain correspondence with you and inform you of our activities and initiatives, as well as to invite you to our events to help us promote them.
2.6.2. We process your data in order to ensure the proper use of your support (skills, time or money) and to be able to report to you in an objective and transparent manner.
2.6.3.  We process your data to communicate our partnerships to visitors of our website or to recipients of our promotional materials; but only with your consent.

3. Who is involved in the processing of your personal data?

3.1. Sport2Be reserves the right to call on “subcontractors” for the processing of your data (e.g. IT service providers, etc.). Sport2Be undertakes to use only subcontractors providing sufficient guarantees regarding the lawfulness, transparency and security of the data processing.
3.2. Sport2Be reserves the right to share this personal data with any other Sport2Be partner entity to process it in the context of our communication and information activities to stakeholders. 
3.3. We may also be required to transfer your data to other recipients, if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary or useful (e.g. to protect our rights and interests or the safety and security of our organization, our infrastructure, our activities, etc.), while taking into account our obligations under the GDPR.
3.4. Sport2Be will not transfer this data outside the European Economic Area.

4. What is the legal basis for processing your data and how long is it processed?

4.1. We process your data ensuring that one of the following legal bases exists:
a) Processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations;
b) The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Sport2Be or by a third party, namely:
     - The proper execution and continuation of Sport2Be activities and the continuous improvement of our organization;
     - Information and promotion vis-à-vis our existing contractual relationships of Sport2Be activities that we consider relevant;
c) The processing is necessary for the execution of a contract to which you are a party or for the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request;
d) The processing is necessary to manage the support you offer us (time, skills, financial).
e) You have consented to the processing for one or more specific purposes.

4.2. We will only process your data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described above.

5. What are your rights with regard to your Personal Data?

5.1. By contacting us as a data subject, you can at any time (if you provide acceptable proof of your identity), taking into account the limits and conditions of these rights under the GDPR:
-  ask us to confirm that data concerning you is being processed, and if necessary, ask us for access to said data;
-  ask us to rectify your inaccurate data;
-  ask us to complete your incomplete data;
-  ask us to erase your data or limit the processing of (certain) data concerning you;
-  oppose the processing of data concerning you;
-  ask us to transfer your data to another manager; and
-  for processing based on your consent, withdraw this consent.
